Converting Conflict Into Collective Action

Join Judie Caribeaux as she leads the third session of “What If They Don’t Want to Collaborate,” a three-part webinar series hosted by the International Institute on Collaboration.

About the series:

In any workplace, community project, or cross-sector initiative, collaboration can feel like the obvious answer.... until it isn’t. This three-part series dives deep into what happens when others resist working together. Through the lens of the Five Building Blocks of Collaborative Intelligence (Transformational Leadership, Conflict Resolution, Facilitation, Awareness of Self, and Friendliness to Collaborate), we’ll uncover practical tools, real-world stories, and mindset shifts for breaking down silos and sparking authentic cooperation.

About this session:

When collaboration breaks down, conflict often steps in to fill the gap. Chief Collaborations Officer Judie Caribeaux will share strategies for embracing conflict as a creative force, rather than something to avoid or suppress. We’ll explore how to name the hard stuff, design better conversations, and rekindle a willingness to work together toward shared goals.

Other Sessions in this Series:

Navigating Resistance Through Awareness and Inclusion presented by DEI consultant Deborah Biddle.
Monday, September 8 | 4-4:45pm

Reframing the Future When They Can’t See It presented by Top-50 Futurist Rebecca Ryan
Monday, September 15 | 12-12:45pm
